Roy Isacowitz hat ein Identitätsproblem.
Bis vor kurzem sah er sich als normaler Bürger Israels. Von Geburt an. Seit über vierzig Jahren. Er dachte, er hat keinen Funken Rassismus in sich.
Und jetzt das. Über Nacht ist er zum Antisemiten geworden.
“Israelboykott” BDS = Antisemitismus
Warum?
Weil sein Premierminister Benjamin “Bibi” Netanjahu das so definiert hat:*
Diejenigen, die Israel boykottieren, sind Antisemiten in modernem Gewand.
In der Vergangenheit haben Antisemiten dazu aufgerufen, Juden zu boykottieren.
Heute rufen sie dazu auf, den jüdischen Staat [Israel] zu boykottieren.
Offenbar herrscht in Jerusalem angesichts der langsam, aber sicher zunehmenden Bewegung BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions)** eine gewisse Nervosität.
Anders läßt sich diese allzu grobe Kategorisierung Netanjahus nicht erklären. Denn natürlich weiß er, dass es auch in Israel zahlreiche Anhänger eines Boykotts im Sinne von BDS gibt. Und natürlich weiß er, dass es dabei nicht um einen Boykott gegen Israel an sich geht.
Insofern dürfte das Identitätsproblem von Roy Isacowitz doch nicht so dramtisch sein.
